With a 2008 population of 115,000, Vicenza is a city in Northern Italy that straddles the River Bacchiglione and is known as the “City of Palladio”. Thanks mainly to Andrea Palladio, Vicenza has been on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites since 1994. Vicenza is a bustling, cosmopolitan city that has much to offer quite in addition to Palladio’s buildings.
