Leave it with the front desk or concierge’s desk at your hotel; they are accustomed to holding luggage at these areas. They’ll probably provide you with a receipt or claim ticket stub. You’ll go do your sightseeing, return to the hotel and get your luggage, then get transportation to the airport. Have a wonderful trip!
You might want to make sure the holding area for the luggage is secure but even so, keep any valuables with you during the day.

The hotel has an area where they will keep your luggage secure at no charge while you spend your extra “time on the town”. I have done that in Reno many times.

Sometimes a hotel will hold it for you behind the desk if you arrive too early for checkin or aren’t ready to move on after checkout time.
Airports used to have lockers where you could store your luggage for a few hours, but I don’t know if that’s universal or even if they do it anymore.
Good luck! Hope you find a good solution and have a good trip.

Most hotels will hold your luggage for you if you request it a checkout. You can call the hotel in advance to see if they will do this for you. If not you might want to choose a different hotel.
The question is what are you going to do for 10 hours? It might be worthwhile to pay for another night even if you don’t stay all night just so you don’t have to hang out at the airport for all that time.
