My carpet was soaked and began to smell moldy and of mildew. We called the rental office day after day and they kept saying they would send someone and we waited almost 2 weeks. I’m pregnant and couldn’t even sleep in m,y bedroom b/c of the terrible smell (had 2 sleep on the couch). I ended up ripping out the carpet in the room because it was nothing that could be done for it. We had it professionally cleaned & everything. Anyways…our lease will be up in december and I was wondering if we could have it replaced (if so, how?) or should we just leave it as is (i know there is a strong possiblity they will try 2 charge us…but they never came!!!)Thanks in advance

Sunday, February 28th, 2010I live in a crapy complex, lets just say that first, and no right now i cant move so until than i want to know something.
Saturday afternoon we had a fire alarm go off for the whole building. The fire rescue responded very quickly (considering they are always getting false alarms for our complex) however managment didnt show up to turn off the alarms for an hour! Fire Rescue, Police & EMT left before the management was even seen. If i report them can they be fined?? I’d so love to, they are all such a bunch of losers.

If they had sent someone into our apartment without our knowledge, or at least telling us why or when they would send someone in, is that breaking the law?
