Why Are Housing/rental Costs In Michigan So High Even During The State’s Poor Economical Times?
Wednesday, December 30th, 2009One would think apartment communities and people who are trying to rent out their homes would drop prices to relatively fit the slumping economy here….. It’s pretty amazing that APARTMENT rentals in oakland county are between $800-1200, and that’s for a 1 BEDROOM?? I would love to know their occupancy rate.
This is just ridiculous. It’s making me want to just move out of state instead of spending an astronomical amount on rent!
Do Any Teachers Live And Work Somewhere Different During Summer Vacation?
Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009I’m a teacher in Massachusetts and this summer I was thinking about moving to Key West or somewhere tropical for summer vacation. I would like to get a job waitressing or bartending while I’m there to help pay for my stay. It’s just been one of those years where I need some time alone (far away from Mass).
Do any of you teachers do this? I was wondering how you work it out and if you could give me any tips on getting a job and where to stay (hotel or rent?)?
How Can I Not Stress About Getting My Period During Vacation?
Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009I’m going to Disney World on Saturday and I’m gonna have to deal with my period while I’m there. I know how to use tampons and everything; I’m just stressed about having to deal with it. Can anyone give me advise on thinking that this won’t ruin my vacation? I know it shouldn’t, but I’m afraid that I’m gonna ruin my time there from stressing so much.

Are There Requirements For Covering Toddler Car Seats When Checking Them As Luggage During Air Travel?

Are there requirements pertaining to how a toddler car seat must be wrapped if you will be checking it as luggage? For instance, is wrapping the car seat in plastic sufficient or must in be placed in something more substantial, like a duffle bag? Thanks for your help!

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009I’m gonna be traveling from Oregon to LA for a layover of a couple hours. I wanted to meet up with an online buddy inside the airport for about an hour.
