I Want To Leave My Apartment For Another, But Give Less Than 30 Days Notice?
Thursday, January 21st, 2010We are currently on a month to month basis since our lease expired. The new apartment I applied for will hopefully come through within the next week or so. (crosses fingers) I may have to give my current rental office much less than a 30 day notice to vacate, so I can get into the new place.
On, the lease, I am an occupant, not the actual lease holder, but I am still required to give them a notice to vacate. How can this affect me in the future when renting again? What do you suggest? FYI- this is in VA.
